Even Bigger Bird

The birds may be victim to another, even bigger bird Swooping away, or fearless, it goes into the sky unhindered

hawk in the grass

there was the hawk right in the front yard digging around in the grass i think there may be a mole (or two) living there with all the upturned and loose soil i wonder if the hawk got 'em i may have scared him away with my car before he, or she, got its  treasure reflection: a hawk reminds me of seeing the great vision, the one that sees from great distances.  yet, this hawk was in the grass digging around and looking almost like the mole it sought.  we can be the visionary and hold the vision but we can also get our talons dirty and get right in it, digging up what's in front of us. giving thanks: thank you for the tears and the emotions that come with being human.  thank you for the people in my life that contribute to life's fullness and grandeur.
